Peggy Darnell was a member of the Apartment Association. Because she owned investment properties she felt very strongly about maintaining her properties and that there ought to be fully trained people available. It was her idea to help give these people a start with their knowledge. Gary Rice has had the opportunity to help set up this scholarship fund. Contact Gary for more info.

Each year the Rental Property Association will provide at least one $500 scholarship to a student registered in the building trades program at Ivy Tech State College in Muncie. Our goal is to have trained men and women able to help landlords and or property owners repair and maintain their rentals. It is our hope that this scholarship will benefit the student and each Central Indiana Landlord in the years to come.
